Wildcard Wednesday: “If you type “Google” into Google, you can break the Internet. So please, no one try it, even for a joke.”

Wednesdays are now anything goes days here at The FBB. Today, “anything” is just a bunch of links I’ve collected over the past few days.

I found this swell piece in which former New Market Rebel/Current Atlanta Braves prospect Chris Master describes his first spring training experience.

Speaking of former Rebels, John Raynor (2004) made his major league debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates last week! NEW MARKET POWER!

Eri Yoshida, the 18-year-old female Japanese pitcher, is coming to play for an Indy team in the United States.

I just discovered the blog of former big-leaguer Morgan Ensberg. He wrote a great piece on his one-time teammate (and future Hall of Famer) Jeff Bagwell.

Another review of The Bullpen Gospels for your perusal. It’s a fine review. I’m kind of jealous of it, actually.

Cubs sophomore Randy Wells writes songs, doesn’t get recognized in Chicago much, and wants to live in the town where he grew up for the rest of his life. Aww.

  1. Thanks for linking to the post on Chris on my website! He’s a great guy – someone you really want to see succeed! I’m heading to Rome for the home opener on Friday and will hopefully have more from him then.

  2. I loved the Randy Wells article, thanks for sharing. šŸ™‚ I always knew I liked him…know it is confirmed. šŸ™‚
