Puniddles: Ballplayer Edition

A long time ago in my household, we had a children’s picture game book called Puniddles. A “puniddle” is defined as a pair of photographs that suggest a literal or obvious solution in a punny way, OR a game using the pair of photographs to deduce the punny solution.

For example, you can see that the solution to the puniddle on the cover would be “bare feet.” It’s pretty simple.

I was watching a Cubs game a few weeks ago and started forming puniddles in my head from the names of various baseball players. I was inspired by a Reds pitcher…
